THE JOEYS VISIT LONG REEF

On a recent excursion the Belrose Joeys were shown the inter-tidal flora and fauna at Long Reef, near Collaroy.

The tour was led by Phil Coleman, an expert on Long Reef and a retired entomologist who previously worked at the Australian Museum.

​The Joeys learnt about preserving the sensitive marine environment and how to find and wonder at the animals and plants that live there, without causing harm.
